Kinner trained on the North West Thames Registrar rotation and was based primarily at St. Mary’s and Charing Cross Hospitals, one of four Major Trauma Centres in London. He trained with some of the UK’s foremost surgeons in foot and ankle surgery, as well as lower limb reconstruction.
Hip and Knee Consultant
Mr Nick Beattie BSc (Hons.), MBCHB, MRCS, FRCS(Ed) T+O, PG Cert Ed
Mr Beattie is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising exclusively in hip and knee surgery. His NHS practice is in Buckinghamshire at Wycombe and Stoke Mandeville Hospital. His private practice is based at The Chiltern Hospital in Great Missenden.
Mr Beattie embraces new surgical technologies, chooses modern implant design and materials, and uses minimally invasive techniques to provide his patients with the best chance of successful and long lasting joint replacement solutions.
Mr Beattie has a particular interest in returning people to an active, healthy, sporting life after surgery and also treats many young athletic patients. He has published extensively and presented academic papers across the world winning awards at every stage. In his spare time, Mr Beattie enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and skiing.
Knee Consultant - Sports Injuries
David Houlihan-Burne BSc MBBS MRCS FRCS (Tr&Orth)
Mr David Houlihan-Burne is a highly-skilled orthopaedic surgeon based in London with over 25 years' experience. Practising in a number of top medical establishments in London, he specialises in knee surgery, particularly to treat cartilage and ligament damage, sports injuries and arthritis, especially in younger patients. He is one of the leading European surgeons in use of robotic knee replacement.
He provides care for many professional and amateur sportsmen and plays an important role in various professional bodies. He holds various prestigious memberships, and was an executive member of the British Association for Surgery of the Knee between 2011 and 2013.
Shoulder Consultant
Mr Jeremy Granville-Chapman MBBS MD FRCS(Tr&Orth)
Mr Granville-Chapman is a fellowship trained specialist in Upper Limb Surgery and Orthopaedic Trauma surgery.
He qualified with a distinction from St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London medical school in 2001 and commenced surgical training in 2005. Basic and specialist training was in the South West Thames region. A year undertaking research yielded a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
Mr Granville-Chapman sat his Orthopaedic Consultant exams (FRCS Tr&Orth) in 2013 and won the Gold medal for the top performance nationwide. He has been both a Travelling Fellow and an Ambassador for the British Orthopaedic Association.
Upper Limb surgery fellowship was undertaken at the Internationally-renowned Wrightington Hospital, where Mr Granville-Chapman worked with leading surgeons in the fields of sports shoulder surgery, complex joint replacement surgery and elbow surgery. This was followed by a further 8 months of fellowship training in Brighton, focussing on complex trauma surgery.
